Christine Comella established her consulting practice in 2008 to deliver professional grant preparation and writing expertise to organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her 15 years of nonprofit experience includes nine years exclusively dedicated to fund development. In addition to developing strong and powerful funding proposals, her background includes copywriting, fundraising planning and strategic communications.

Prior to working as an independent consultant, Christine had the privilege of serving as the Director of Development and Marketing for the Unity Council, Director of Development and Communications for St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County, and Development Manager for the Community Housing Partnership. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco. She is a registered fundraising counsel with the State of California’s Office of the Attorney General.
